But you can’t. Hell can be funny like that. Down here it’s all just sin. Everyone here is screwed just like you. They don’t care who you sliced, diced or cheated. No one is escaping this heinous place.
Your roommate is an axe murderer. Eerily, he’s not threatening. How can he be? The Fallen Angel owns your body, mind and soul. As such, no one can take your life. It’s already been taken. Or was it given? Neither matters. Did you seriously think you were living a virtuous life? At least Satan serves beer in Hell. He brews it himself right there in that flame stoked cauldron. Rumor has it the beer is straw yellow, bone dry and simply labeled Inferno.

Towering off-white head over hazy yellow beer. Perfumed, estery, fusels-filled nose, rosewater; Sweet-bitterish, perfumed & fruity flavour, better balanced than the nose.Even a bitter-sourish point. Feels nearly overcarbonated; medium bodied, gristslicknes. Not Tommes’ best.

(Bottle) Clear golden colour with foamy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of tropical fruit, canned peaches, marzipan, hay, ripe pears, almonds and yeast. Malty, fruity taste with dried fruit, tropical fruit, marzipan, spices (coriander seed?), ripe pears, raspberries, a touch of yeast and a spicy, grassy bitterness in a long finish with some warming alcohol coming through. More than medium body, fairly dry for its strength. There’s a touch of Duvel in this one, but it’s even more complex. Hellish good beer!

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden color with a longlasting white head. Has a fruity malty spicy yeasty coriander aroma. Slightly spicy malty yeasty hoppy coriander flavor. Sweetish malty spicy yeasty finish.

At Nates leaving do. Deep yellow gold beer. Really authentic belgian funky golden ale. Good hop on end. I liked it. Couldnt pick it from a true Velgian good hop on end.

From the 2/2012 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 750 ml corked brown bottle this beer poured a murky yellow-golden color with a huge foamy white head that left incredible lacing. The aroma was dryish and tart with a vague citrus note. The flavor was tart orange and lemon with undertones of must, sugar and bread. The finish was long with orange, lemon and bread lingering. The beer turned a bit dry at the end. Moderately full bodied. The alcohol was well hidden. Solid.

Lemon peel nose with marshmallow peep accents. Clear amber, thick head. Medium body. Funk and overripe lemon. A little too hot given the relative lack of complexity. Average and not one of Lost Abbey’s best.

Bottle @ home. Golden yellow appearance with a huge pearl white head. Mildly funky, barnyard, light peppery, floral hoppy, golden belgian aroma. Floral, somewhat peppery, barnyard, slightly funky, belgian yeasty, golden malty flavor. Slightly spicy, belgian yeasty aftertaste.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden orange with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, dried apricot, orange peel / lemon zest and chardonnay. Flavour of orange zest, subtle dried fruits and lots of yeast. Medium complexity with quite high carbonation. Very good.

Big offwhite lasting head. Clear coppery body with strong carbonation. Fruity wooden spicy aroma with funky vinuous caramelly notes. Dry-sweet funky caramelly fruity taste with earthy herbal notes. Mid-to-full body. Mild mouthfeel with some alcohol heat. Dry-sweet wooden caramelly fruity taste with spicy wild berry notes. There’s also a strong note of something I associate with oaked beers here, but I’m missing the word for it. Very nice, and highly sippable. (0.75l bottle from I forget where.)

Bottle from Beverage Superstore in Suwanee. Pours cloudy burnt orange color with off white head. Aromas of fruits and citrus with some Belgian yeast. Similar flavors. Medium body with average carbonation.
