Bottle thanks to me...no wait, this one angrypirate06 brought (surprisingly). Pours with a copper brown (not red) body and an off-white head. Aroma of PNW hops up front (pleasant change from all the pale lagers angrypirate06 has provided tonight)! Pine, citrus and dusty chocolate notes as well as nutshells. Taste is hops, citrus, table sugar, nutshells and a bit of a harsh, bitter astringency in the finish. A bit thin and fizzy.

Thanks to ericandersnavy for this one. Pours a clear reddish copper with a frothy 3-finger beige head. Light roast caramel aroma with mild floral hop. Near medium body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is roast caramel with a touch of citrus, but mostly floral. Seems astringent. Decent drink.

Bottled at Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear nut brown, mid-sized head. Perfumy nose with roasty notes. Medium sweet with light-medium body and slick, well rounded mouthfeel. Slim and quafable. Salty perfumy hops on a distance, surfacing late to give balanced bitterness A pleasant if somewhat superficial beer.

Good hop flavor and aroma. more biter than the pale ale, but this is certainly in a pale ale style as well. Some malt with fresh bread also. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a medium creamy off white head that leaves behind good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is a floral hop with grapefruit and pine. Thin mouthfeel with a cascade hop taste with grapefruit and caramel with a nice bitter finish. A very good amber ale from Summit.

12 oz bottle–pours a rocky/foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is pungent/herbal/resin hops, medium malt-peat. Taste is pungent/herbal/resin/lemon hops with some bite, light/medium malt-peat. Nice hops and varied from medium to light body. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for picking this out.

A reddish amber ale with a thin creamy off white head. In aroma, a lightly nutty caramel with light British hops. In mouth, a very nutty malt with light herbal fruittyness. Some metallic hops notes. Medium bodied. On tap at Jerry’s, Chicago, May 16 2009.
