Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013. It pours deep mahogany with a small beige head. The nose is earthy, spice, toasted brown bread, dirt and light liquorice. The taste is wood, earth, dirt, leather, toast, caramel and tarte tatin with a dry finish. Medium+ body and high carbonation. Decent enough.

At Chriso pre GBBF Shindig 2013. Clear mahogany beer. Lasting beige head. It’s ok. Some soy sauce. Bit too much for me but some chocolate sponge flavour.

75 cl bottle, shared with family. Clear, deep brown color. Thick creamy light-beige head. Aroma’s: not too much in the nose, somewhat sweet, fruity. Retronasal there’s much more: roast, drop/licorice, a little red fruit. Flavor: medium sweet, roasted. Medium bodied. Finishes slightly dry, roasted, bitter.
