Golden to amber lager with a thick off white head, creamy. Sweet caramel aroma with apple notes. Sweet malt and rather cloying metallic bitterness. As beer warms up, nice nuttiness comes out. A strong Vienna. rich but a bit too much, veering on cloying. Tasted Spring 2006.

Bottle, 8.7%. Weak peppery aroma. Clear amber colour. Big stable tan head. The flavour is quite sweet and peppery. Caramelly maltiness. Some fruit and spice in the finish. Nice.

Poured a clear golden color with nice white head. Mild aroma of spicy hops, grainy pale malts and sweet malts. Nice thick mouth feel to this beer. The flavor has some hop spice, grainy malts, sweet malts and alcohol. Pretty tasty brew.

(can) Clear amber colour with a medium-sized, not very lasting foamy off-white head. Dusty, sweet and slightly toast-malty aroma with honey and alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium to full body, smooth carbonation. Sweet malty initial taste, slightly fruity (honey), sweet malty strong and lasting finish. According to the high ABV, the alcohol is fairly well integrated, certainly present and warming, but not offensive, nor rough. The first one of its style I do really like.

Light copper pour with a subtantial, but short-lived head - lots of fruity esters in the aroma, especially strawberry - highly evident alcohol in the flavor, along with some of the esters from the aroma and a light grain taste - some hops are present, but add an odd, metallic bitterness.
