The Love is an unfiltered wheat beer, also known as a hefeweizen. It is distinguished by its extremely light body and flavored with hints of banana and clove. A slice of lemon can complement this refreshing brew.

Bottle. Lemon, banana, clove and wheat malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large but short lasting white head. Mildly sweet-tart lemon and very light wheat malt flavor. Watery body. No bad or off tastes but not much here.

Draft. Cloudy golden body. White, diminishing head. Aroma of clove and wheat grain. Just a hint of banana and straw. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet, lightly bitter and very lightly tart. Medium body, watery texture and lively carbonation. Overly sweet and lacking both finishing tartness and wheat slickness. The spice is overly pronounced. Sloppy.

Bottle from Liz. Pours very hazy gold with a white head. Aroma has some light banana and clove. Med body. It is spicy - seems clove - but the banana seems to have gone missing. There is citrus. Maybe there is a little banana in the finish.

Stole from roommate: Pours an orange color with barely any head. Looks bleh. Kind of has a weird permutation on the banana and clove smell; there is a familiar element, but I can’t quite identify what that is. Kind of too sweet in my opinion. Seltzer-like mouth feel. A bit different from what one would expect, but not quite it a good way.

Cloudy golden yellow, smallish head. Nose and flavor have tingly zesty wheat with mild phenolics (clove, banana). Weird herbal finish. Somewhat refreshing but for that finish.

on tap-pours an offwhite head with hazy gold color. Aroma is banana, clove, wheat/light malt. Tasts is banana,/bubble gum/clove/pepper, wheat/light malt. Plenty of effervescence.
