Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, malty, caramel, fruity, riped fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 33 cl bottle @ home. Hazy amber color. Frothy off white head with just a thin layer retention. Aroma’s: sweet, malty, citrus zest, herbal hops, sweet fruit, apricot-jam. Retronasal there’s mint, resin, herbal hops, sweetness. Flavor is moderate sweet with a firm bitterness. Rather strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Carbonation is quite low. Long herbal bitter finish.

(330ml bottle @ VilleValla Pub, Linköping, Jan 22 2016) Pours hazy medium brownish amber with a small white head. Aroma of citrus oils, pine needle, caramel, light grain, alcohol. Palate is mid sweet and quite boozy with grapefruit, orange and citrus oil, pine needles, light caramel, alcohol. Finish is heavily alcoholic with some resin and pith. Medium bodied, average carbonation. I liked the IPA components here but it was a bit overwhelmed by the sheer wallop of booze, which seemed to work synergistically with the resin. That made it a bit less drinkable.

Many thanks to my "EU Santa 2015" MrHangover for this bottle! Sweetish and floral. Way too much sweetness with a nice floral and intense body. Pine, resin, lots of sweetness without much bitterness. Nice.

Botella 33 cl tomada en el momento en el kraken 20..12..2015 (r55) elaborada 17..08..2015 hasta 17..08..2016 impresionante imperial Ipa con intensos sabores maltosos algo afrutados con amargo persistente. 9.5 vol que se notan desde el principio al final. Para repetir sin duda.
