Draft at Pigs Ear 2015, day 1 - London. Pours unclear gold with a tight, creamy head. Lots of citrusy hops in the nose, some pale bread. Big sweet flavor with notes of fleshy orange, oily pine, hearty bready pale malts. Full bodied, oily and fairly chewy, with fine carbonation. Resinous and lightly warming to finish, with more pine and rich citrus fruits. Pretty good stuff overall, but certainly hefty.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear 2015. It hazy deep orange - amber with a decent white covering. The nose is soft, rather juicy, orange, nectarine, candied peel, earth and sherbet. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, piney resin, juicy peach, nectarine, orange peel, slight chewiness and some warming alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. The aroma in particular stands out. Pretty nice.

33cl bottle (9.5%, 103EBU, bottled 17-08-2015) pours with a pleasingly hop hazed copper body that supports a weak tan head. The aroma offers up pineapple and grapefruit along with orange zest, perfumy floral hops and a light pine sap sensation. The taste starts with a firm grip of grapefruit and pineapple like hop bitterness, a decent load of floral hops and then it gets quickly into resiny pine hops. To midway the booze starts to show as well as a mild mineral sort of spicy earthiness. This is a solid hoppy sipper with plenty of bitterness and light on the late addition hop juiciness.

Bottle, BB 17.08.2016 (from Koht). Pours amber with beige head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is hoppy, sweet, pine, fruits, caramel, citrus. Flavor is sweet, a ton of amarillo hops, fruits, citrus, strawberries, caramel, malt. Finish is pine-citric bitter with lingering sweetness and some alcohol. Overall: reminds "de molen amarillo" a lot. This is a good thing because amarillo is my favorite de molen IPA-ish beer.
