Bottle: Clear orange-gold, with a small white head. Lemon, barley, grass scent. Taste is a bit on the sour side.... Grain malt, lemon-peel, citrus. Decent, but a little too sharp tasting after about a third of the way through.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy bright orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, caramel, toast, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with balanced citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, caramel, toast, biscuit, herbal, floral, grass, and herbal/toasted earthiness. Light herbal/pine bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon zest, orange peel, caramel, toast, biscuit, and herbal/toasted earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; with a good malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, fairly crisp, and lightly creamy/sticky mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish. Overall this is a solid pale ale style. All around good balance and robustness of citrus/earthy hops and dark/bready malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. Seemed more like an English style overall, and was pleasantly enjoyable.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours orange tinged gold with a slight whiteish head. Aromas of light roast malt and floral hop. Med body. Flavor is mostly floral over light roast caramel. It’s not so much bitter as it is floral. Interesting take.
