Bottle. Pours dark brown with tan head. nose/taste of fresh coffee, coffee grounds, toasted oatmeal, toasted chocolate and toasted brown malt. Medium body.

Bottle at Reading BF 2014. Black beer lasting tan head. Big coffee aroma. Some powder on the coffee flavour. Strong coffee. Too carbonated. Lots of coffee sharp finish. Ok. Just lacks a bit of depth. Bitter on the finish.

New Beer Distributors, NYC 11.2oz ($4): Pours black with a creamy brown head. Aroma is a whole load of coffee grounds, plenty of chocolate. Taste is coffee grounds and plenty of them. Light bitterness and light chocolate flavors are in here too. This is not my favourite kind of coffee stout, but I liked it enough for what it tried to do.

Tap at Jeffrey. Pours dark brown with thin head. Nose is light coffee. Tastes of coffee for sure, some chocolate, light cola, cherries, some mealtimes. A touch thin. But drinkable and tasty

Bottle, Beer Moth, Manchester. Deep dark brown pour with a tan head. Coffee laden beak with notes of dark roasted malts. A similar yarn flavour-wise with some dark fruits and choc lurking. .Ok maybe a bit of a one trick pony.

Bottle Pours dark brown aroma and scent are pure cold coffee . Not my thing, though that does not mean it is a bad beer .

Burnt malts, coffee and a hint of smoke in the aroma. Smooth and a bit oily. Flavour is bittersweet with obvious coffee flavour. There’s a touch of sourness too which is not so nice.
