We still brew this unique beer in the old-fashioned, original way, using genuine Gose yeast, coriander and salt. Ritterguts Gose's refreshing characteristics are developed through a secondary lactic fermentation, which produces a round and harmonious acidity. Its rare, classic open fermentation and long, cold maturation make it exceptionally well-balanced, the way a real Gose was meant to be. Enjoy a taste of the finest Leipzig tradition!

Bottle from Systemboalget. musky sour smell. looks like a geuze in lovely gold with light watery bottom. Strange mixed taste of sauson /huell hops /bitter. Intruiging but slightly stomach unsettling.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with no head. Aroma has light lacto, lemon, citrus, salt, light corn aswell. Taste is salty, citrussy, coriander, lemon.

500mml. bottle as part of the «European Summer Santa 2019», many thanks @rauchbierlover. 17/09/2019. Deep dark golden colour with no head. Aroma is tart, soft metallic and bubblegum. Taste is medium sour and tart leading to a medium salty finish. Salty aftertaste. Next one please!

LCRBM2: Lemon aroma. Lemon flavor with a touch of salt and coreander. A wonderful mix of Berliner Weisse and lambic with some salt added. Great beer. Re-rate: bottle from Der Doppelbock. Pale blonde, cloudy. Strong salty grapefruit aroma with a touch of coreander. Salty citric flavor. Sour. Thin, but excellent and very drinkable.

500ml bottle kindly shared by Finn. Firm white head to a misty warm golden body, scattered lacing. Moderate malty-fruity nose, dry. Fruity tartness to the taste buds, herbal dry. Prolonged ending. Has got some cleanser qualities. Not a favourite. (Tromsø 01.08.2019).
