We still brew this unique beer in the old-fashioned, original way, using genuine Gose yeast, coriander and salt. Ritterguts Gose's refreshing characteristics are developed through a secondary lactic fermentation, which produces a round and harmonious acidity. Its rare, classic open fermentation and long, cold maturation make it exceptionally well-balanced, the way a real Gose was meant to be. Enjoy a taste of the finest Leipzig tradition!

Draft at Ranzani 13, Bologna, Italy. Pours intense gold with limited white foam, very fine. Aroma is not particularly strong, of malt and salinic. Body is average, with intense carbonation. Taste is nicely sour, with good saltiness. Finish is short and clean.

0.5 bottle in Munich. Straw color, fast disappearing head. Sour apple nose. Well balanced wild yeast sour. I would have pegged it as a Belgian geuze which is a good compliment ;-).

Bottle thanks to Dave pours out wheat color topped with fizzy head. Nose is sea brine sourdough bread some spice. Taste is more of the nice brine salt notes and plenty of spice.

thnx to Stijn ! Pours clear blonde, no real head. Smell is mild spiced, tart, salty. Taste is full, bit sharp, sour, round-bodied, very in balance. nice gose ! Very dry ending, more funky due to the spontaneous fermentation profile.
