Tap at F&M April 2022. Unfiltered pink orange body. Steady white head. Awesome sour cherry aroma. Drinks like a sour, the saison tone is sort of buried but I suppose adds some depth. Really good stuff, the cherry tone holds up. Rather sour and mouth puckering. Really tasty, has a more authentic Belgian tasting sour depth than most US examples.

Bottle from F&M: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is sour cherries, but not overpoweringly so, along with aromas of wine, some yeastiness. Taste is pretty tart, lightly acidic, somewhat woody. Smooth. Wood and wine aftertaste with a touch of cherries.

Bottle courtesy of Hackobock. Pours hazy deep yellow with a very small goldenish white head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is tiny fruity and funky with crackers, lemon juice, yoghurt, clotted cream, hay, minerals, barnyard and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sour, fruity and funky. Mouthfeel is soft, dry, slightly tart and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sour with crackers, lemon juice, fleshy cherries and tropical fruit funk. Beautiful and balanced with subtle yet noticeable sweet cherry character. Love it!
