On tap at Mikerphone, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of intense espresso, almost an espresso liqueur-like character, with molasses underneath. Flavour is very rich, bringing out espresso on steroids. Rather syrupy palate, almost too much such that it�s not that balanced. Alright extreme beer.

Can at home. Black pour and pretty head. Nose is rich maple syrup and some coffee. Tastes the most maple syrup or beer I can remember and high quality not cheap sugary nonsense. Fine coffee, some dark chocolate, earth, faint plum. Rich palate. Lingering maple aftertaste.

One of my favorite names/labels but the beer is definitely lighter than expected. Frances Bean would be proud. PS. Brewed by Octopi in Waunakee, WI. Woot!

Can 35,5 cl. 8% according to the can print. Pours an opaque black with only a tiny, beige head. Nose is sweet roast, coffee and tons of maple syrup. Rich, sweet roast body, pleasant coffee notes, but again completely dominated by the sweet maple syrup. Slight roast bitterness. 120619

Bottle at bumba. Aroma of maple, sugar, malt and chocolate. Taste has lots of maple, coffee, sugar, caramel and chocolate. Good one.

Bottle courtesy of linusb. Pours blackish dark brown with a small mocha head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissiapting. Smell is malty and tiny fruity with roasted malts, caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, burnt wood, moist soil and hints of alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet, bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is soft, round, slightly astringent and medium to full bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with roasted malts, burnt caramel, dark roast coffee, bitter chocolate, burnt wood, moist soil and hints of alcohol. Good but nothing that stands out...

Bottle thank to Neemo. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong coffee bean and roast. Medium mouth rich roast dark chocolate bitter finish, very nice.
