It’s called Gnällbältar’n and is a ordinary bitter. It is developed to work well for traditional cooking that is served at Örebro Ölcafé but also to be an enjoyable beer with weaker alcohol strength. As the beer only has 3,2% alcohol it is what we in Sweden strangely enough call “peoples beer” a.k.a. Folköl.

Draught @ Örebro Ölkafé. Pours clear deep copper witha frothy and creamy reddish offwhite head that slowly dissipates while leaving a small trace on the glass. Smell is malty, slightly herbal and tiny earthy with dark bread, caramel, biscuits, moist grass, moist soil, orange peal and lemon zest. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, slightly malty and herbal. Mouthfeel is tiny round, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter and tiny sour with caramel, crispbread, grapefruit juice, moist grass, moist soil, orange peal and lemon peal. Solid low abv offering without being remarkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gnällbältar'n on 14 Jul 2015 at 17:24 - Score: 6. Original review text: Drinking local...
