The Golden Tricky is made in honour of a witty priest from East-Flanders. The only hop that is used in this brew is the Australian Ella. Don’t be fooled by her exotic aroma that creates the expectation of a sweet beer. You will soon notice the bitter aftertaste that makes this beer whole. Do the test and let a boomerang of tastes slide through your throat, all the way down-under.

Bottle split at ABC Beer The Hague, 24/09/2015. Thanks. Hazed golden straw coloured pour with a lasting thin white head. Aroma is saison yeast, straw, grainy. Flavour is composed of saison yeast phenols, light apple notres, damp hay straw. Decent belgian quality. Palate is airy carbonation, grainy, dry finish. I like it.

opalescent pale yellow colour, minimal off-white head; aroma and taste of grains, citrusy and earthy notes, maybe minimal banana and some bread; not a typical IPA, but still enyojable

Bottle at Dulle Griet, Gent, Sunday 18th October 2015. Pours hazy mid gold a white head atop. Know nothing about this beer but it is a good hoppy number the Australian or NZ hops really giving it a nice steady hop bite throughout. Fruity, not sure exactly what though, good bittersweet balance. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

[9/18/15] Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas in Brussels. 7%. Hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of citric hops, yeast, spiciness, fruity esters. Rather dry flavor, fruity, with yeast, citric hops, some spiciness, and a moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Pre Borefts Tasting at ABC Beers, Den Haag. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry. Floral bitterness. Mild sourness. Light lemony gueuze vibe. Floral tangy finish. Would never have known this was supposed to be a DIPA! Passable.
