On tap at Pressklubben. Almost black with a large creamy head. Very sweet with sugar, dried fruit, toffee, chocolate, figs and warming alcohol. The body was thick and the carbonation on the low side. A beer to sip.

Draught @ All In Beer Fest 2014. Pours dark brown with a small brownish beige head that leaves some thick trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is sweet, malty and fruity with sweet dark bread, grape candy, raisins, pears, hay, soil and alcohol. taste is very sweet, malty and fruity with sweet dark bread, caramel, pears, apples, marzipan, plums, raisins, alcohol, fruit flavoured candy, soil, hay and leather. Mouthfeel is round, sticky sweet, slightly boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet with sweet dark bread, caramel, pears, fruit candy, hay, soil and alcohol. way way way too sweet…

Draught at All In Beerfest 2014. Nicely hazy deep brown, close to black with a beige head. Aroma is complex, with sweet malty tones, candy, caramel, honey, coffee, dates, figs, vanilla and raspberries. Taste is also big on malty flavours, honey, vanilla, chocolate, some coffee, brown sugar, raspberries, dark overriped fruit but at the same time touch of fresh berries, slight bitter finish, lightly warming alcohol. Big body, light to medium carbo, an almost chewable texture. Very good, I’d prefer a slight smaller body, that might even have executed even more complexity. Well done nontheless.
