Endless Summer Ale - Citra Single Hop

Draft @ Bar Kino, Göteborg. Pours a hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity citrus hoppy finish.

Draught @ Ölstugan Tullen 2a Långgatan. Pours very hazy brownish orange with a small offwhite head that leaves some sticky lacing and trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and fruity with dark bread, grapefruit juice, starfruit, moist grass, pine needles, moist soil, caramel, orange peal, lemon peal and hints of butter. Taste is bitter, slightly malty and tiny fruity with dark bread, caramel, butter, grapefruit juice, moist grass, pine needles, resinous wood, orange peal and lemon peal. Mouthfeel is slightly round, astringent and medium bodied. finish is bitter and tiny malty with dark bread, grapefruit rinds, orange peal, lemon peal, moist grass, pine needles, resinous wood and expired butter. Too dark, buttery and bitter to suit me. It’s citra dammit, how hard can it be!
