500 ml bottle bought through Systembolaget. Pours clear amber with a small bubbly white head that doesn’t leave much trace while dissipating. Smell is sweet, malty, fruity and almost perfume-like with caramel, ripe peaches, apricot jam, plums, orange peal, dark sweet bread, yeast and hints of hay, phenols and marmalade. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter and metallic with caramel, freshly cut grass, orange peal, unripe plums, unripe currants, lemon zest and hints of grapefruit juice, grape zest, dark bread and sheet metal. Mouthfeel is crisp, watery, tiny oily bitter and light bodied. Finish is tiny sweet and bitter with dark bread, orange peal, grape zest, grass and grapefruit zest.

En gammal och lite trött humle. Maltigt knäckig, nötter och lite smörig. Lätt kropp med mjuk munkänsla. Blommig humle, rostig järnspik, gräsig beska. Tydliga UK-vibbar på alla sätt. En bra pale ale.

(Bottle. Thanks to SaintMatty) Amber colour, slightly hazy, with frothy beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of toffee, caramel, roasted nuts and dried fruit. Slightly toasty. Malty, toasty taste with notes of caramel, nuts, dried fruit, orange and a gentle bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Quite nice.

Copperbrown beer with a weak and blond head. Aroma is caramel, some nuts and roastiness, hint of strawberriess, also some aromatic hops; quite nice aroma. Taste is quite dry, biscuity, some roastiness, wooden and dry hoppyness that is also slightly aromatic; balanced taste. Quite light to drink, but still nice. Enjoyable beer, actually, there aren’t nothing special at any individual sector, but still entity is great and fresh.

Bottle from K-Supermarket, Kamppi, Helsinki. Amber with a small head. Aroma and taste of some light roasted malt, bread and caramel. The aroma was a bit better than the taste.

50 cl bottle. Rated on 23.6.2011
Aroma has bread and some caramel. Flavour is bready too with some toffee. Worse than the Fog-version. Like that, I did not like the overwhelming breadiness from malt here either. This should have more hops or less malt. Maybe it wouldn’t belong to the bitter category then though…

50cl bottle. Poured amber color with a very thin white head that quickly disappeared. Aroma is nutty, fruity and malty. Flavor is nuts, mild toffee and herbal/fruity. Bitter finish. Nice one. Felt very fresh and crisp.
