Thin offwhite head. Chestnut brown body with lazy carbonation. Faint sweetish caramelly aroma. Dry roasty caramelly taste with some edge and spicy notes, faintly fruity. More like a lager than an ale, if you ask me. Clear, sharp taste. Dry, dusty roasty caramel aftertaste. Nice. (0.5l bottle at Tegners.)

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful amber coloured with a small, discreet head. Lovely hoppy aroma with a flavour full of delicious nutty notes. Full-bodied with a good balance between sweet malt and bitter hops. Tasty label - tasty beer. 140202

Starting clear amber color, big foamy brownish head. Nose is metallic and aromatic. Crisp lively carbonation in the mouthfeel. English hops dominated medium body. Bitter finish. A bit hard mouthfeel in otherwise enjoyable bitter. Floating yeast particles at the end of bottle , so bottle conditioned it is.

Bottled. Rusty brown/amber coloured, small white head. Aroma consists of sweet caramel and a bit roasted. Strong taste of barley and caramellish malt while drinking. Bitter aftertaste, and wellbalanced taste.

(500 ml bottle). Golden brown colour, good head, moderate but pleasant hoppy aroma with some caramel; malts and heavy bitterness in the flavour and aftertaste, perhaps too bitter in the finish. Not very complex. Decent effort, but the English do it better!

Red amber color, little head. Very nice hop aroma, also fruity (red grapes, oranges). Balanced between malt and bitterness, but a rather weak body; and a very light metallic taste. Good final: bitter, dry and enough aromatic. Good, enjoyable bitter (dry).
