Bottle. Pours hazy straw with airy white head. Clear aroma of citrus and hops, with subtle notes of flowers and yeast. Sweetish and citric flavour of hops and citrus fruits, with some funky and salty notes - more like Saison than a Tripel. Acidic aftertaste. High carbonation. Good.

Cloudy, light golden with some floating sediment. Fluffy white head. Fruity, floral, estery aroma. Light barnyard in the long nose. Sweet citric flavour, yeasty with creamy, fluffy mouthfeel. Rather funky for a tripel but quite nice.

Bottle, 8.8%. Quite citric aroma, and also quite funky. Hazy golden colour. Big stable white head. The flavour is sweetish and citric with a faint hint of marazipan and phenols. Spicy notes, coriander or whatever. A bit strange and not very tripel-y, but refreshing and works well enough for me.

Draft 7 oz pour at the Logsdon Barrel House. Pours a clear golden yellow with a ton of foam head and lacing. Big belgian yeast consistent aroma. Flavor is really dry, mild spice throughout. Soft fruit reminder late. Pretty good tripel. It’s been fun getting to know this side of the brewer. Enjoyed this.

Bottle via Buckeyeboy, thanks Jeremy. Pours a hazy golden color with a small white head. Aroma is subtle with malty sweetness, barnyard, and yeast. Taste is dry barnyard funk and floral hops, lightly spicy. Some malty sweetness, overall nicely balanced and quite drinkable. More like a saison than a tripel, imo.

Bottle share from Buckeyeboy. Lighter saison in body, but very full in flavor. Nice floral, herbal notes.

Floral yeast, some citrus and even a touch of peach. Some coriander. Great stuff. Pours hazy golden with foamy initial head. Soft carbonation. Finishes with light sweetness and a touch of tang. Very smooth and easy to drink. Bottle from Julio’s Liquor.

75cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks a lot! Pours hazy golden with a white head. Very fruity aroma with mango, peaches, hints of citrus and pale malt and hints of yeast. Moderate sweet with nice fruity flavours, a light acidity and a nice bitterness. Certainly a tasty one! --- Beer merged from original tick of Straffe Drieling Tripel on 03 Oct 2015 at 23:48 - Score: 7
