(Draught at Foersters Feine Biere, Berlin, 25 Aug 2016) Pale golden colour with lasting, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, cereal, grass, a touch of citrus and fresh noble hops. Malty taste with bread, cereal, a touch of citrus and a dry finish with a balanced grassy bitterness. Tasty and well balanced pilsener. Quite nice.

Bottle courtesy of MoritzF, many thanks! Clear and deep golden color with creamy and fine-bubbled white head that dissolves into a thin white layer. Aroma is earthy-herbal hops and light biscuity malts. Taste is the same, but with a hint of an underlying sweetness. Carbonation is average, but still, the beer feels quite crisp. Bitter finish with a hint of metal, but it fits. Best German Pils I’ve ever had.

0.5 l bottle shared with Marko, thanks! Pale clear golden, lots of bubbles, small diminishing white head. Malty, grass, dry herbs. Light to medium body, medium carbonation. Malty. Light dry hoppy finish. Not bad.

Thanks to Beštak who brought it from Bochum! Pale golden body with a small white head. Pleasant style-typical aroma, herbal hops, vaguely citric and metallic, nice note of honey. Nice dry pils, bready with a good herbal-citric hoppy note, solid bitterness for the style. Slightly eggy. nothing off about it. Silky mouthfeel countered by a good bitter note. A very, very well executed pils!

330ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Grainy and strawy aroma, a cautious, minimally sweet-ish, cereal and caramel touch. Taste is strawy, grassy hoppy, some pale malt spiciness. Rather ordinary Pilsener.

Bottled 330ml. -from Rudat Dortmund. Golden coloured, small white head, almost neutral nose. Malty, light grassy, dusty hoppy and hint of caramel with bitterish finish. Ordinary and boring.

Pours clear deep golden with a frothy offwhite head that leaves some thick sticky lacing on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and floral with dark bread, cereal, hay, dried flowers, moist soil, minerals and orange peal. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter, malty, floral and earthy with bread, cereal, hay, moist soil, minerals and lemon peal. Mouthfeel is crisp, sparkling, slightly dry, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with bread, cereal, hay, moist soil, minerals and lemon peal. Very enjoyable pilsner! Bitter, bready and with just the right amount of earthy floral hops. --- Beer merged from original tick of Moritz Fiege Pils on 20 Feb 2015 at 21:36 - Score: 8. Original review text: Very yummy. Nicely malty, floral and earthy crisp hoppy pils.
