Bottled@PBF X. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some sweet maltiness as well as a slight bit resin and spruce to it. Flavour is fruity, floral, some sweet maltiness, toffee and mild herbal and resiny notes. Quite nicely balanced, and the alcohol just gives a slight kick to it, without being disturbingly strong or evident.

On tap at Jet Rock at PHL (after a connecting flight...I admit that all beers I have ever rated seem to get an extra +0.2 just for the fact that Jet Rock is the best non-tied-house craft beer bar in an airport). Also, the actual beer ratings by me are pretty lame. Slightly hazy mahogany with full, full, full, khaki head. The travel bias kicked in here as i loved this beer!

22oz bomber pours with a clear amber to copper colored body that supports a thin tan head. The aroma offers up bitter notes of pine and then a sweet malty blend of earthy tea like hops, raisin and plum esters and then some floral hops. Like the nose the flavor begins with bitter to near resiny pine and then malts, a dash of earthy tea like hops, a bit of molasses and then bitter floral hops and spicy woodiness to midway. Toward the finish it picks up thin layers of sweet dark fruity esters like plums and red apple. Overall this maintains a pleasing degree of hoppy bitterness from front to back.
