Keg at Northern Monk Refectory. Pours clear red amber with a thin white head. Aromas of caramel, resin, classic DIPA nose in fact. Taste is light coffee, treacle, then good blanching hop bitterness. Sticky finish, but good with it.

6th August 2015
Murky deep amber beer, good pale tan head. Nose of caramel malts and orange peel. Palate is smooth and softish, reasonable fine carbonation. Rich malts, smooth creamy sweetness and with a well integrated dark toffee. Hops bring spicy marmalade and pine. Smooth finish. Mild bitter linger. Very nicely balanced and rich and satisfying.

Clear ruby-brown colour. Lots and lots of bitterness and citrusy zesty resiny hops flavour. Also assertive caramelly background. Surprisingly easily drinkable. Excellent beer, nice DIPA interpretation. I like it much more than their standard IPA.

Fatöl. Grumlig Mörk brunfärgad rackare. Doftar lovande tung amerikansk inlands Dipa ala Green leafness Madness . Får se nu hur smakar den? Jo tungt Rye, gräsigt inslag med rejäl fyllig beska. Ja Dipan rätt igenom är fyllig dock utan frukt. Möjligen blåa druvor . Faan ingen modern West Coast stil här inte. Bra fyllig tung maltig Dipa.
