Bottle. Murky amber body with a dense off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of toffee, tomato and hops. Flavour of parma violets, flower petals and pine. Medium to full body with a frothy mouthfeel that becomes sticky. Lively fizz. I like the rawness and bitterness of Edge’s hoppy beers.

Draught @ All in Beer Fest. Pours very hazy yellowish brown with a frothy offwhite head that leaves some spotty trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty and grassy with dark bread, caramel, toffee, grapefruit juice, mango, freshly cut grass, pine needles, chives, diesel fuel, lemon zest and alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter, amlty, fruity and grassy. Mouthfeel is round, astringent, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with white bread, caramel, grapefruit juice, mango, pineapple, freshly cut grass, pine needles, chives, diesel fuel. alcohol, minerals and lemon zest. Fair beer but not my kind of IIPA. --- Beer merged from original tick of Juggernaut on 09 Nov 2015 at 11:44 - Score: 6

Bottle from Beer Gonzo webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at Cliff House Campsite, Dunwich, Suffolk, Saturday 26th ’Boxing Day’ December 2015 Pours mid brown murky dark brown actually. A little sicky aroma but then some malty and hops come through. Crisp, fruity, bristly hops, cling with a furry bitterness. It?s got a sort of fresh zippy cocoa thing going on, lovely beer. 330ml bottle @ Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Pours hazy deep orange, good white head. Aroma is big resin and spice. Taste is very hoppy, almost concentrated with a liquorice hint, lots of citric orange, pine & syrup. A little over-hopped for me.
