On tap at Pudel, Tallinn (Edge tap takeover). Seems fairly clear dark amber to ruby, with a modest, off-white head. Lots of caramel, some ripe or dried fruits, notes on f pine and hints of citrus and herbs. Sweet, caramelly and hoppy, but the caramel seems to dominate. Certainly decent bitterness too, but still not enough to balance out the sweetness. Reminds me more of American style barley wine than DIPA, but fairly tasty and a decent winter warmer.

At a tasting, thanks, medium stable off white bubbly head, cloudy very deep red color with lots of orange hues, aroma of biscuit and a little stale herbal hops, skunky biscuity flavor with a hint of caramel, quite strong soapy bitterness. Unpleasant and not good.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Hazy deep amber-brown. Aroma of caramelly malt, leafy hops. Flavor has sweet malt, kinda caramelly, with bitter leafy hops. Medium-bodied.

Keg at CPK. It pours slightly hazy deep ruby red with a medium yellow - white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, juicy, jammy, berry, fruit pie, blood orange and candied peel. The taste is crisp, bitter, piney, varnish, resin, peppery spice, blood orange, grassy, berry skin, some alcohol and grapefruit with a dry, lingering bitterness. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Aroma is particularly nice. Decent.
