Bottle. Pour lightly cloudy copper, some foam that comes down and leaves some lacings. Nose is malty, syrupy even - but with a a resiny hop kick, definitely mountains of hops used there. Taste is also quite heavy, sticky and caramelly hop syrup. Hoppy barley wine, hops have definitely come down but well, still lots of them left. Not too sweet and quite enjoyable DIPA.

Bottle @ home. Hazy dark amber colour with a medium sized offwhite head. Smells hops, sweet, slightly pine and resin. Tastes hops, sweet (but not as cloyingly sweet as some other beers in this style), bitter. Lasting taste, full body, nice carbo. Great double ipa.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet mineraly, sap, grass, sugar, alcohol, old leafs, worth, sawdust, minerals, paper, weeds, harsh hops. Taste is slightly sweet medical, sugar, sap, weeds, bark, old leafs, alcohol, harsh hops, paper, cardboard. Medium bitterness, harsh medical mouthfeel. Meh!

Tap @ van Moll, 10 cl sample. Almost clear amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of some citrus and pine, quite some caramel and toffee. Quite sweet caramel and toffee in taste, some grapefruity bitterness. Too sweet for my liking.

Botella 33 cl en el kraken 05..12..2016 (prueba). Lote B293922 hasta 23..11..2017. (r89). Color marron muy oscuro y turbio con espuma beige. Aromas y sabores maltosos dulces afrutados Cuerpo fino denso y con espuma y 9.2 vol que se notan desde el principio. Bastante buena. Para repetir.

Draft @ Zeezicht, Breda. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Sweet nose. Malty, caramel, tropical fruit, Rather bitter finish. Well balanced. Good.

Tap @ Taphouse, Copenhagen. Clear red brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light hoppy - fruity. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Sweet and rather bitter finish. I like my DIPAs less malty and with more aroma. 141116
