Draught @ BrewDog Gbg. Pours hazy golden with a big frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some big spotty trace on the glass. Smell is yeasty and spicy with crackers, hay, dry soil, white pepper corns, cloves, dry soil and lemon zest. Taste is bitter, tiny fruity and spicy. mouthfeel is dry, slightly astringent and light to medium bodied. Finish is bitter with crackers, red pears, hay, dry soil, minerals, white pepper corns, cloves and lemon zest. Decent phenolic saison. Fairly spicy without going overboard. --- Beer merged from original tick of Beerd / Crane SILO on 12 Dec 2015 at 18:24 - Score: 7. Original review text: Fairly heavy on the spicy phenols. Fair dry saison.

On tap at the Gryphon, Bristol 22/9/2015. Slightly hazy gold with a tight, white, head, and a touch of fizz. Aroma of floral hops, a hint of spice and lemon. Flavour had more citrus fruits, a yeasty edge, peppery kick and dryish finish. Good.
