Smell is malty with caramel, toffee, charred wood, raisins, dates, raisins, moist soil, minerals and madeira alcohol. Taste is sweet, bitter and malty. Mouthfeel is flat, round, astringent, slightly boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet and bitter with caramel, toffee, charred wood, dark dried fruits, leather, burnt prunes, moist soil, dried pine needles and hints of alcohol.
