Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy mahogany colour, small head. Vinegary, woody nose with some red wine. Tart with medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Intense vinegary, lots of well wooded red wine and slight earty licorice. Acidic finish. Lovely complexity.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Slijterij De Langstraat, Waalwijk.
Clear brown with a very thin off-white head. Oak and sour cherries in the aroma. Sour taste with a sour finish. I love Flemish Oud Bruin but this one is a bit too sour and not balanced by some sweetness. Still nice though

On tap at Moeder Lambic Original. Pours murky brown with a beige head. Dark sugars, berries, and balsamic on the nose. Flavour is very tart, lots dark berries and plenty of balsamic vinegar. Hard to finish; not very good.

Sampled at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki.
Poured light mahogany in color with a white head, lasting.
Tart and sour with light metallic notes. Woody, dry, berryish. Very tart for sure.

(Keg at Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, 20250417) The beer poured reddish brown and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had candi sugar, sourness, wood and berries. Palate was medium bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were sourness, wood, candi sugar, malts, berries and bitterness. Aftertaste had sourness tartness and bitterness. A very tart oud bruin. Not bad but bit weird.

Bottle. Clear, dark reddish to amber body with a nice, dense tan head. Aroma is really nice and in balance with malt, red fruit, dry fruit, oak, acid and a faint hint of acetone. Flavor is malty and fruity, quite fresh and fruity with acid in combination with sweet malt and dry fruit. Medium body and same aftertaste as the rest. Nice with some Rodenbach Grand Cru qualities, but not quite there and rather light in body.

From tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels. Aroma is overripe sour fruits, oak, bready malt, caramel, some toffee, prunes, vinegar. Flavour is rather impressively sour, a true flavour-bomb. Body is medium. Very tasty, lots of sourness.
