Fuzzy is a Missouri Wild Ale that was fermented with native microflora from our family’s Missouri farm and then aged on Missouri-grown white peaches. The bright acidity and rustic funk is balanced by the delicate flavors and soft aromatics of the white peaches. This sour ale was fermented in and aged in Chardonnay barrels for more than a year.

375ml bottle from a trade. Tart, zesty and juicy with loads of sweetish peaches, nectarine, oak, wood and sourish notes. Really well balanced and refreshing. Tasty stuff, awesome.

Flaska från USA-trade, blend #3. Gulorange disig med vitt skum. Fantastisk arom med massor av persika, aprikos, funk, persika- och aprikoskärnor, kärnbeska. Samma i smaken.

0,375l bottle at home. Blend #3. light yellow lightly hazy color, small white head. smells strong of peach, peach jam, bit grassy. lovely smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of peach, peach jam, bit lactic, grass, rather tart towards the finish. finishes rather dry and medium sour with notes of peach, lactic and some grassy notes. loved the smell, taste is great but almost a bit too tart, not as much peach on the taste as on the smell.

Batch 2 Magnum, drunk 9/20/17.
Bright lemonskin yellow with softer gold and rose tints. Small white head fades to cove and there is a gentle haze to the beer with plentiful carbonation in solution.
Light sulfur up front kicks things off with a rustic flare as apricot-nectarine-peach character appears, bright and lightly juicy and very well-homogenized with the mixed culture, base malt and light wine suggestions. There's a soft vanilla-honey note hanging in the background which really softens things (not that it's overly acidic or anything) and provides depth. No alcohol or flaw.
Very interesting flavor with more malt than expected. Honey, white bread and light biscuit all provide a great backdrop to the juicy peach acid. Not overly sour, especially for SP, with fantastically tight, natural carbonation that concentrates then dispereses the acidity. Sumptuous, deep malt profiles provide a great texture, continually, while juicy acids mix with white wine and stone fruit notes to provide further complexity. This has aged magnificently and will continue to do so. A very flavorful, balanced, well-constructed sour from these masters.

Keg (batch 2) at Beavertown Extravaganza. It pours hazy yellow – gold with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, funky, sweaty socks, peach, apricot, lactic, kitty litter, farmyard, must and dirt. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, great mouth – pucker, lactic, very peachy indeed, tangy apricot, white grape, sour candy and oak with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Perhaps lacking in a bit of depth, but it is rather tasty stuff anyhow.
