Indeed, although we are specialised in the production of top fermentation beers with refermentation in the bottle, the brewery has chosen to keep the production of a “pils” beer.
The Rédor is a pure malt “pils”, which means we only use the barley malt as starch.
We do not add grains, so the Rédor becomes a tasteful “pils” with a real bitterness.

Goudgeel bier met mooie schuimkraag. Smaak is fijn bitter hoppig en licht kruidig met iets van honing en hars. Goed bier.

Tap at Nuetnigenough. Light pale blond, big bubbly head. Taste is great, floury, light sweetness, little bit of hoppy bitterness at the finish. Really crisp. Aroma is similar, grainy, wheat, crisp. Nice.

On tap at Nüetnigenough. Pours a hazy gold with spotty white lacing. The aroma is earth and citrus. Medium body, wheat, earth, crisp bitterness, good.

Slightly hoppy aroma with just a bit of caramel. Full bodied, hopbitter flavor. Nutty and a bit caramelly. Short hay-like bitter and nutty aftertaste. Tasty, but not entirely clean. Should be much better from tap.

Flaska. En pils som domineras av honungssötma, milda örter och blommor. Möjligen lite för sent. I övrigt elegant.

Keg at Nuetnigenough. It pours clear bright gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, cracker, cereal, doughy, white bread, grass, toasty grain and a touch of sulphur. The taste is firmly dry, bitter, grassy, straw, toasty grain, cereal, lemon peel and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate - high carbonation. Well rounded and quaffable.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is grassy, leafy, a touch vegetables, sweet malty base. Taste is grassy, earthy hops, dough, biscuity malts, soft sweetness, a touch vegetables. Oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Can't hide it's Belgian roots, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. It's alright.

Tap. Nuetnigenough, Brussels. Straw colour. Light haze. Thin white foam. Nose has sweet cereal grain. At a push, there’s some grassy hop. Taste is mostly sweet and grainy. Light body. Possibly a bit flabby. Sweet finish. Not the best pils.
