Drucken på fat på Moeder Lambic Fontainas. rosaröd färg. Stram och bärig, lätta tanniner, tranbär, druvor, vinbär och lätt rött vin. Törstsäckande, uppfriskande och lättdrucken för stilen. Mycket gott.

Bottle from Cantillon and drunk on a train to Amsterdam. Can't believe I have not had this before. Hazy deep red colour. no real head. Vanilla and red fruits. Do I detect some distinctive pinot noir aroma too? Bready yeast aroma. bit fizzy in the mouth. Vanilla and dark red fruits in mouth. some deep strawberry raspberry light redcurrant. acidity on finish as you would expect. decent.

Bottle at Cantillon. Nice juicy, fruity grapes in the nose, a bit of yogurt and grapefruit. Vinous flavor, grapes, with some of the fresh sweetness remaining. Creamy and lactic. Much more fruity and approachable than the Cinsault.

750ml bottle @ Cantillon. Pours deep dark red with a small head. Aroma of tart vinous berries, wood, funky yeast, oak and red wine. Taste is vinous, funky and sourish with some oak, tart vinous grapes, berries and earthiness. Finish is smooth, slightly funky and farmyardy with some vinous berries, tartness, mild sourness and woody oaky notes. Pretty well balanced and tasty, not very aggressive or extremely sour, but quite vinous.

750 ml bottle, vintage 2017. Shared with Beerhunter111 at the brewery.
Ruby, hazy body, with a small, fluffy, light pink head.
Aroma with lots of elegant, sweet and tannic red and dark grapes, grape skin, red wine, moderate funk, wood.
Tastes very lovely, with similar aromas, the grapes beautifully showcased.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes very smooth, dry, wooden, a bit sweet, with lots of lingering dark grapes and grape skin.

Delicious! Drinks more like a wine, with the most beautiful grape notes everywhere. Still very smooth to drink, once again the balance is outstanding. Propably my favourite grape Lambic by Cantillon so far.
