0.33 l bottle from ’De Bierkoning’ at 4.5% abv, bottled in May 2016. Hazy, dark golden amber with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish-grainy, slightly yeasty and a little fruity-grassy aroma of dough, straw, grains and maybe a touch of peach and clove. Sweetish, slightly fruity, moderately yeasty and quite grainy taste of dough, straw, grains, some butter and hints of peach and clove, followed by a short, slightly grassy-bitter, quite yeasty finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay Weizen, similar to the one from Füchschen, not even close to the South German style.

Solid Weisse. Fairly dry and drinkable but not too sour or extreme on the fruit esters.

Many thanks for this small swing top bottle beer to kevnic2008.

Murky orange color, medium-sized creamy off-white head. Light banana, malty aroma. Medium-bodied. Flavor has banana but otherwise quite dry. Not grainy but kind of spelt-like flavor. Ok.

17/III/15 - 33cl bottle from a trade @ home - BB: 4/IV/15, filled: 5/I/15 (2015-383) Thanks to Thirstybird for the trade!

Little cloudy yellow to light beige beer, irregular big bubbled white head, unstable, falls down immediately. Aroma: sweet, banana, spicy, yeast. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, malty start, sourish touch, fruity, some citrus, only a hint of banana, bit hoppy. Aftertaste: bitter hops, sourish, grassy, some yeast, hint of banana, spicy touch. Very atypical weizen, refreshing to taste this different approach!

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts malty, modest yeasty, not too dry. Mild fruity-sourish notes of apricot. Finish a bit drier, malty-woody. Nice!

bottle, donated by kappldav123! Hazy deep golden colour. small off-white head. Aroma of baker’s yeast. Fruity and malty, pleasantly yeasty with lovely hops, slightly citrusy with hints of raisins. Lovely.

Bottle at the brewery in Dusseldorf 27/8/13. bright cloudy orange colour with a rocky whte head. Neutral tangy bready aroma. Flavour is clean and crisp, bready, chalk. Palate is spritzy carb, tickles the tongue. Clean drinkable weizen, but lacks some of the classic yeast character.
