From bottle at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small and dense creamy white head. Aroma is dry estery and wheaty. Dry wheaty, light spiced and wheaty flavoured into a dry finish. Simple wheat beer but rather dry.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Hazy yellow colour, huge white fluffy head. Aroma is wheat, some a bit lagery "malty and hoppy figures" along with some herbs and citrusfruits. Flavour is wheat, yeast, some slight lagery notes as well as some earthyness. Almost wheat meeting Kölsch or something like that. Yet very nice and drinkable.

Muffiger, leicht saurer Antrunk. Das Bier ist zwar erfrischend, dies geht aber mit einer deutlichen Geschmacksarmut einher. Das Bier wird im Mittelteil herber, die leichte Säuerlichkeit bleibt. Langweilig. Test vom 15.11.2007, Gebinde: Fass Noten: 12,7,10,5,-,5 - 6,84

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Slightly hazy golden with a white head. Acidic, floral aroma. Medium body, sweetish malty with an amazing arsenal of fruit notes - tropical ones in particular. No yeastiness, no bitterness but quite interesting and very untraditional for Germany. 090407

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with fruity notes of peaches, combined with light spicy notes. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of peaches and lycee fruit. More special than good.

Draught at the brewpub. Lightly hazy golden, small dense head. Fruity nose wih some banana. Medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Evidently estery, but more in the altbier sort of way than the weihenstephaner. Short spritzy finish. A good cross of weizen and altbier.

Bottle at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow colour. Semi-stable, creamy white head. The flavour is very subtle, has a little citronvand. Not much wheat beer character, no banana or anything like that. No flaws, though.

Swing-top bottle: Very pale "golden" coloured, mid-sized white fluffy head, slowly diminishing; fruity nose (lemon peel, citrus), but only a faint tinge of bananas or cloves; slightly sweetish, fruity flavour, soft mouthfeel, light bodied; very faint tart, citrusy/sourish finish. Deceptive beginning, pretty bland finish, but refreshing, though................

(swing top bottle) Hazy yellow colour with a firm and foamy medium head. Intense aroma of citrus fruits, wheat and floral hops. Medium body and carbonation. Malty and fruity (kiwi, citrus) taste, dry and quite bitter & lasting finish. Nice and uncommon Weizen.
