A rich nose with wheaty, yeasty and hoppy characters mingling with full-on mango and passion fruit. Added to that comes a kick of honeycomb, banana and a touch of sourness. The palate is sweet, very soft and delicate with an apple and tropical fruit 'bite' with a superbly balanced bitterness.
This belter of a Belgian Double IPA simply 'raises' the bar in its style.

Many thanks to Sean for sending this bottle! The beer starts nice yeasty-smooth banana-like with a sharp hoppy bitter body. Interesting aroma. Fresh and sharp-hopped in the aftertaste with a soft body. Great combination!

Keg at The Hanging Bat. Very pale hazy yellow pour, thin white head. Belgian yeast notes, light spice, bread, light fruit. Taste is light bitter, more sherbet and lemon though. Easy drinking, but not getting the IPA vibe.

Bottle from Henderson Wines. Hazy pale golden body with a thick white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of lemon sherbet, candy, grapefruit and a hint of white pepper. Flavour of herbs, lemon, dusty yeast and minerals. Very dry. Medium body with a slightly oily texture. Nice fizz. Drinks very easily for 8.0% ABV. One of the best beers I’ve tried from this brewery.

Keg at 6DN, Don City, 20/06/14. Clear light golden with moderate off white spotting. Nose is citric peel, spice, earthy, bitter mandarin, lemon rind, straw, tangy tropical notes. Taste comprises bitter orange, big mineral rinse, herbal tones, apricot, light spice. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, lingering Belgian yeast tones and tropicals in the close. Ok stuff.
