Sample at Haand 2013. Black colour with a beige head. Aroma is coffee, malt, fruit, chocolate. Flavour is coffee, roasted malt, fruit, chocolate, licorice. Full body. Nice beer.

Small brown body. Opaque black body. Roasty grainy pine needle aroma with earthy notes. Dry-sweet roasty spicy chocolate taste with pine needle notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry roasty toasted rice and licorice aftertaste with salty grainy strawy notes. Really nice and highly drinkable. (0.15l draft at Haand 13.)

Draught at Akkurat. Opaque dark brown/black liquid with huge, firm tan head. Aroma of licorice, light ash, toast, chocolate, noble hops and light citrus. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of light ash, toast, licorice and citrus. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Really good.

On tap at Bishops Arms Vasagatan, July 2013. Black with a large, tan head. This was a fairly relaxed one with chocolate, fruit and roasted malt. Actually more hoppy than expected.

Draught @ Akkurat. Strangely balanced porter with notes of coffe sourness, coffee beans, citrusy hops, toffee and vanilla. Overhopped in a way that makes it taste like a Black IPA.

On tap @ Haandfest 2013. This is a deep dark brown one - quite near black in color and it has a nice dark quickly islandy and sidesticking brown top. Nice nose, not to extreme but it reminds me of fresh tobacco, green pine cones, dark roasted malts and cold coffee. Heavy roasted flavors, it has a nice lactose sweetness. A gentle gliding oily mouthfeel with a soft prickling carbonation level. I get some coffee and coffee acidity in this, it's really enjoyable. Could drink lots of this. 25.05.2013

Tap at Ölrepubliken. Pours black with tan head. Aroma has roasted coffee and chocolate with some hoppy citrus in it. Roasted malt, coffee and chocolate in the taste. Very nice bitterness and a hoppy finish. Excellent brew.

På fat. Svart IPA/Porter. Smak och doft av humle, rostade toner, malt, mörk choklad, kaffe, rågbröd med toner av torkad frukt, trä och laktris. Välbalanserad med en trevlig beska med smak av bitter choklad och tallkåda. Väldigt gott.

Sampled @ Haand 2013. Black body with a medium sized beige head. Not particular strong, but really pleasant aroma of dark malt, roast, coffee, fruit, chocolate and some liquorice. Flavor is sweet malty, moderate roast, fruity, coffee, chocolate and good bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Very pleasant.
