Sampled @ Haand 2013. Black body with a medium sized beige head. Not particular strong, but really pleasant aroma of dark malt, roast, coffee, fruit, chocolate and some liquorice. Flavor is sweet malty, moderate roast, fruity, coffee, chocolate and good bitterness. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Very pleasant.

Pours black with a light tan head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, grape and hint of chocolate. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Appearance: Black color with a beige head.
Aroma: Chocolate, coffee and some roasted malt.
Palate: Full body. Moderate sweet and an ok bitterness. Soft carbonation. Oily texture.
Taste: Complex well blended beer. Roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel malty.
Overall impression: Tasty lovely porter.

(Draught at Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm, 4 July 2013. 7.5%) Black colour with creamy, pale brown head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, black coffee, black rye bread, cocoa and a touch of pine needles. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dark chocolate, black coffee, black rye bread, dark fruit, liquorice and a gentle roasty bitterness in a fairly dry finish. Tasty and well balanced porter. Very nice.

Taste is a little dry and watery, dark sugar, roasted coffee, caramel, grass, rubber, hay, cardboard. Longlasting bitterness, a little dry mouthfeel. Fair enough, not a favourite.

On tap at Haand Festival 2013, Drammen. Black colour, creamy tan head. Mild but pleasant roasty aroma, notes of dark chocolate and mild coffee. Very well balanced flavour, distinctly roasty without ever being rough and coarse, smooth coffee and dark chocolate again, decent hops throughout.

Draught at Glenfiddich Warehouse 68 Stockholm. Opaque black, rich beige head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Fairly sweet and near full bodied with soft mouthfeel. Strong chocolate mud cake flavour that keeps hops in the background. Some light tar shows up in the finish. A well balanced porter, packed with flavours, yet quite drinkable.
