Flesje gekregen van Benzai en gedronken met familie. Zwart bier met weinig, bruin schuim. Aroma van koffie en drop. Smaak van poeliepek en donker fruit. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

Draft at Churchkey. Dark clear ruby maroon color. Aroma of earthy coffee and chocolate. Taste has cocoa powder, coffee grounds. Very tasty.

Bottle, 330 ml at Valencia on Tap. Pours black, medium beige head. Roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, some fruity hoppy notes in aroma. Sweet with bitter finish. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle from Voldby. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and cocoa. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily. 230616

Very dark brown with a thin beige head. Smells of cherries, oxidized fruit and a bit of chocolate. Tastes like caramelized cherries, coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, roasted malts and chocolate. Smooth texture with a bitter-sweet (mostly sweet) sherry aftertaste.

almost black colour, moderate sized beihe head, which disappears quite quickly; arom of cocoa and coffee, some herbal liqueur and dried berry notes and tonic water; taste is the same; not bad!
