The Aromas are toffee malt and roasted barley. Flavors are similar to knows a little sweet upfront with a little bitter in the back good carbonation and with some spicy qualities. Body is a touch on the thin side but not bad. Decent enough winter bock.

Bottle. Brown color. Maltaroma with hints of raisin. Almost full bodied, malty beer with hints of roast, raisin, laurel and dark chocolate. Sweet, but very tasty and worthy of the Einbecker name.

Bottle from Bruisin' Ales. Pours ruddy copper with a foamy beige head. Mildly roasty malt aroma - European style aroma. Don't get this in USA beers. Med body or nearly. Flavor is mildly roasty malt with a bit of non-Saaz hop. Definitely not dry. Bitter enough. Nice flavor!

Weak nose. Clear ruby red colour, good frothy beige head, dissipates quickly. Aroma toasted malt, grain, caramel, light black currant. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grainy, caramel, raisins. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, herbal notes, light alcohol, medium body, oily texture, not bad but lacks depth.
