Bottle. Color: Ruby, off-white head. Taste: Roasted malt, caramel, pretty sweet with light hopbitterness. Notes of raisins and lligjtly hints of smoke. Medium to above medium body, slightly below average carbonation. Some oxydation. Ok beer but nothing special.

On Tap at Prost! Boise Clear light brown witha full and lasting sticky tan head and lacing. Smooth toasted malt flavros. Very nice

Bottle. Red/brown. Nice head. Aroma is malts. Taste is malty, sweet and slightly alcoholic. Dark fruits, some liquorice and caramel. Medium carbonation. It’s alright but not as balanced as the Ur-Bock.

Pours clear reddish brown from the bottle. The crown fizzes and dissipates. The aroma is malt with caramel hints. Taste is malty sweet with bitter notes and an alcohol warmth in the finish. Overall makes a monotone impression. Body is oily, and yet well carbonated. Okayish. There are better bocks out there.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo ze spora pianka, ciemno bursztynowej barwie. Smak karmelowy, trochę za alkoholowy. Aromat czekolady goracej do picia, nieco wanilii. Na zakończenie mamy alkoholowe wrazenia oraz sporo toffi. Srednie piwo

2015-12-28: Bottle at Tania's parents'. Pours clear dark amber with off-white head. Aroma of caramel, dark bread, some fruity notes, ethanol, dark dried fruits. Tastes sweet, but well balanced. Bitter finish. First sip is quite boring, but the taste improves the more you drink. Medium bodied. Nice winter warmer. Re-rated 2021-12-23. Bottle at A. 's parents'. Taste is slightly sweet with balancing bitterness.

Mar ’15. A 0.33 l bottle from some supermarket in Berlin. It poured a clear, dark copper-brown body with a small head. Fine caramel and raisins aroma. Moderately sweet flavor, fine caramel and biscuit profile with lots of dried fruit. Quite alcoholic, too. Medium in body with a long sweet finish. Some hops would do good to it. Okay, but I was not impressed anyway.

Bottle from Van Alsem. Very sweet, creamy, banana, caramel. Bottle just passed it’s best before date. Backlog from 2014/03/11. Tap at Rootz Winterbier festival. Better, uprated. Backlog from 2014/12/14.
