Draft. A pretty decent winter ale, lots of sugar spice and caramel. Pours dark, not a whole lot else to say.

Bottle 0,33ltr: Clear brown coloured brew with an slightly sweet bitter taste. Hints of fruits and spices, drunk this one under its alias De Koninck Winter.

Cafe De Nieuwe Roos Ootmarsum, tap. Served way too cold to determine the aroma. Nice caramel flavor. Hoppy and the typical Koninck yeastiness. Sweetish and a bit thin, but a fine session beer.

Clear amber brown colour, large foamy beige head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, fruity, light caramel. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter, toffee, light red fruit. Malty bittersweet finish, roasty, spicy notes. Okay strong ale, despite its name I don’t consider this as a winter beer .
