Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 14281. AROMA: predominant spice aroma of clove from spice aditions. Slight citric note. Background of slight sweet malt. APPEARANCE: light amber to amber and slightly hazy. Small off-white head with low retention. TASTE: a blend of clove, slight citric note and a sweet-malty background. low bitterness with a slight sweet aftertaste. PALATE: medium-low body with a slight texture. medium-low to low carbonation. slight astringency. OVERALL: altough an enjoyable Tripel, it has little bitterness for the style.

Golden with a white head - Nice malt and some spicy yeast in the aroma - Malt body that is sweet and there is olso some spicy yeasty tones in the back - The sweetness and spice goes into the finish - This was nice

Bottle, at Haand Festival. A small white head sits on top of a lightly unclear golden body. The aroma is sugary and fruity, with some alcohol and pine cones. Lightly spiced, smells like cardamom. There’s a nice bitterness in the mouth, it’s full-bodied, warming and nicely carbonated, with flavors of white sugar, pine cones and a faint spiced touch. Long finish. A bit heavy this one, but clean and quite nice. 150529 Lett uklar, gylden, hvit lite. Sukker, fruktig,noe alc, furu, lett krydret, kardemomme. Fin bitter. Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a lacing white head. Yeasty nose, but also some lovely funky notes. Rich, malty body - unfortunately cloyingly sweet making it very hard to drink. And those funky notes remain in the nose only it seems. Very fruity, but also incredibly sugary. Love the aroma though. Still. 120815

Pours hazy deep golden with a small white head. Aroma has notes of malt, yeast, sugar, dried fruits, some spices and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, fruity and spiced finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry floral, weeds, flowers, yeast, hay, spices, light malts, bark, hints of almond essence. Taste is floral, yeast, flowers, weeds, hay, light malts, harsh grass, paper, spices. Medium bitterness, harsh floral mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Bottle at Stuu’s. Pours gold, light haze, thin white head. Aromas of spiced orange, heavy clove vibe. Taste is big on the clove too. Quite sweet on the finish.
