Much like its legendary predecessors, this Yeti is big, bold, and dark. The addition of rolled oats softens Yeti's notoriously roasty backbone, and the small amount of raisins added in the brew kettle creates a unique dark fruit character. Just as admired as those that came before it, Oatmeal Yeti Imperial Stout is a gentle beast.

Oatmeal Yeti 9.5% A pitch black pour with a tan head. The nose is a sweet soft chewy oats, dark stone fruits. Fabtastic flavor with raisins, dark chocolate, chewy oats, candied plum. Medium bodied this drinks smooth as silk and settles down with some heat in your stomach.

Bottle from Happy’s Market, Ellensburg; bottled Jun 19 2014
Black color with thick brown head. It has just a good aroma, with some dark chocolate, rye bread, biscuits and hops, but the flavor is fantastic, rich, chocolately; the mouthfeel is moderately sweet but the body is lean; the hop adds a lot of quality, freshness, fruitiness; the final has also a light coffee note.
Excellent.

(650ml bottle from Systembolaget) Pours black with a small off white head of small lingering bubbles, lace. Aroma molasses, raisins, dark fruit, some lightly sweetened red grape juice, just a bit of chocolate - doesn’t smell like an impy stout. Flavour of molasses and caramel, dark fruit, raisin, almost ruby port. A bit more dark chocolate from the middle on, touches of coffee roast, tangy fruit, hint of licorice. Finish fairly dry and roasty given how sweet the start is. A little oat creaminess in the finish. Medium body with soft carb and a little alcohol heat. Super fruity imperial stout, the raisins really change it - none of the hoppy character of the normal Yeti. Drinks like a really dark and roasty quad. Definitely different but very good if you suspend your stout expectations.

Bottle. A- Dark fruits, cocoa, roasty. A- Black color, black liquid, brown head. T- Cocoa, roasty, malty, raisins, bitter chocolate. P- Full body, creamy texture, average carbonation, roasty smooth finish. O- The addition of raisins here is great. Adds a very welcoming dark fruity nose and subtle addition to the taste. The oatmeal helps to smooth things out as well and makes for a great head. Overall, I didn’t get much of a difference from the regular Yeti which I did not like other the nice dark fruit added.

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av mörk choklad, kaffe, rostade toner, torkad frukt med tonvikt på russin med toner av karamell och vanilj. Rund och len, lagom sötma, otroligt fina smaker, välbalanserad. Riktigt gott.
