Imperial Stout Aged in Bourbon Barrels

For most of you, Black Tuesday needs no introduction. This beer is our take on a bourbon barrel aged imperial stout. The 2015 edition is the biggest release yet in many ways, clocking in at 19.9% ABV. Rich caramel, toasted malt, vanilla, burnt wood and anise are just a few of the many flavors in this rich, decadent imperial stout.

Sweet, boozy, oily. Rich caramel, raisin, hefty booze but really smooth. Brilliant.

Heavy and slightly roasty with hints of barrel, bourbon, syrup but alcohol is surprisingly well hidden. Has mellowed out nicely

Hidden sample treasure hunt. Still hunting for the perfect BT age, but this seems to be on the way back. Boozy as heck, thick, bourbon and a bit savoury. Damn heavy, intense. Great for small portions, but don't solo.
