Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a dark purple with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong boysenberry, cherry skin, oak, funk. Medium body, jammy, boysenberry, cherry, nice tartness, light acidity, really enjoyed this.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle side by side with Appreciation. Aroma is super berry forward. Faint oak, malt and SARA funk. So much deep berry character with balanced tannins, skins Pours a deep, dark reddish purple with a small thin pink head that recedes quickly and disappears. No lacing and legs. Flavor is also super berry forward. Light sweetness and a moderate, but balanced and well rounded acidity. Tons of deep, concentrated berry notes. Some tannins and berry skin notes with a light jammy note; the berry essence is a bit strong to really have a jammy character. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice beer but I think they may have gone a bit overboard with the fruit turning it rather one dimensional.
