Hops, hops, hops. The Kompaan 58 Handlanger has skipped the process of a normal IPA and has hopped over to adulthood. Backwards engineering! Lots of hops: Simcoe, Amarillo and El Dorado and three kinds of malts. A full flavored double IPA of 8.2%, but beware!
This beer is strong, but doesn’t taste as quite as dangerous--just like a night on the town with your “handlangers” (accomplices). Citrusy notes in smell and taste in combination with a tropical fruit palate and a bittersweet aftertaste.

At De Paas. Clear amber with small head. Sweet pine hops, bit citrus, sweet toasted malts, some spices and yeast. Backlog from 2014/05/27. /// Feb. 2017. Now with American hops. Clear amber with white head. Sweet malts, resiny and citrus hops. Pineapple, caramel, hints of anise or some other aromatic spice. Dirty ground hops, hop pellets, something doughy. Over medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied and average carbonation. Dry chalky texture. All in all a nice beer but not a very clean aroma, theres some dirt or obstacles in there but that kind of makes it down-to-earth and interesting. Nice.

Ambar consistentemente turbia. Dos dedos de espuma blanca. Rico aroma, bien marcado, de predominio lupulado, naranja amarga. En boca tiene bastantes cosas, malteada en la base, notas de miel. Dominio lupulado, de nuevo naranja amarga, resina. Buen cuerpo. Calor y amargor final.

Keg at Arendsnest in der Dam, 27/09/15. Orange amber with a big old light tan covering. Nose is caramel malt, pine, bitter citric juice, grapefruit, hop dance. Tate comprises pine needle, earthy grapefruit, light spice, caramel malt. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough DIPA.

Bottle 33 cl. Amber color with excellent foam. Aroma of very good hops: honey and tropical fruit nectar. Taste is closer to barleywine: sweet liqueur or nectar, dessert wine, fruits, good bitterness. Good ale.

0,33L bottle, BB 22.10.16 (from beerExpress, Tallinn). Pours dark golden with whiteish head. The head stays. Aroma is very spicy, fruits, citrus, mandarins. Flavor is sweet and bitter, citrus, mandarins, grapefruit, hay, malt, slight graininess, and spices. Finish is grapefruit bitter with lingering sweetness. Alcohol is rather well covered. Overall: somewhat weird, but I kind of like it.

Tap @ Zakład Usług Piwnych. Hazy orange with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - grapefruit and pine. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and rather bitter finish. 290715

Caña en el lupulo el 18-06-2015. color ambar cobrizo con poca espuma beige. Aromas y sabores maltosos y cereales ligeramente dulces, algo ásperos y rústicos. Ligeros toques afrutados al principio en frío que luego casi desaparecen. Poco amargo final. Cuerpo medio algo pastoso y facil de beber. Normal.
