Draft at Churchkey. Poured a dark-amber-brown color with an off-white head. Aroma was nice light roasted malts with plenty of holiday spices and earthy hops. Flavor was chocolate malts, sweet notes. Touch of booze on the finish. Pretty creamy, very tasty.

Keg at Sheps Bush. It pours cloudy deep mahogany brown with a small tan head. The nose is rich, spicy, wood, leather, varnish, dried fruits, fruit cake, glazier cherry, varnish and toffee. The taste is bitter-seep, dried fruits, glazier cherry, fruit cake, wood, warming alcohol, leather, twig, dirt, toffer, spicy and light alcohol warmth with a dry finish. Medium-full body and fine carbonation. Very drinkable stuff, only a touch of alcohol warmth. Tasty.

A little bit of smoke in this one. Pours very dark brown with ok head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Not very memorable - just ok. Tap at Churchkey.
