750 ml bottle. 2018 Catador Club. Aroma is chocolate mixed with some type of red grape. Flavor shows me fortified wine, not sweet at all. Very oaky and earthy. Red grape, dessertwine. essence. Many, many years ago when I was stationed in Spain I didn’t drink Sherry. It really it is it’s own thing. Interesting and it’s own way.

Bottle pour from Catador Club via TJ and Chris--thanks, guys! Appearance is opaque, inky black with nice viscosity, no head or lacing. Aroma is roasted malt, dark fruit/vinous, earth. Taste is strong roasted malt with nice sherry contribution, barrel, earth. Balanced well. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with no bitterness. Overall, not super complex but extremely well balanced and enjoyable sipper!
