Vintage 2012 in Cognac Barrel. Czarne geste i oleiste piwo z pachnacym koniakiem i armaniakiem zarazem. W smaku beczke koniaku od razu sie zauwaza pieknie to pachnie i smakowite mocne piwo, no wlasnie podwyzszony alkohol nieco tu przeszkadza w posmaku daje sie go odczuc ale naszczescie przychodzi finisz gorzkawy i mocno wytrawny ktory zaglusza go. Pozostaje koniakowy i drzewny posmak w ustach. Piana srednia i srednio trwala. Ciekawe swiateczne podejscie, polecam nie tylko na wspolke z Mikolajem:)

Special edition of Santa’s Little Helper, elected best Christmas beer in Denmark. Has the same basic profile as the regular version but with sweetish cognac accents and sharpish tannins in both aroma and taste, as well as a dryer, more woody finish. Very demanding but rewarding ale but I liked the Grand Marnier version a little bit better. Undoubtedly a great provision beer.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours dark brown with a transient beige head. Aroma is dark treacle, vinous and oaky. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is very tasty chocolate. Very tasty. Like one of those little chocolate brandy filled candies. Nice.

Bottle shared at Bruce’s pad, big thanks to Kenneth, 16/01/14. Light black with a good sized tan head. Nose is coconut shavings a la dark chocolate Bounty Bar, dark toffee fudge, light booze. Taste is mega bounty bar - red wrapper with black cardboard tray, dark chocolate, light spice, boozey leanings. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, sweet closure with light booze. Best of the series for me, nice flavours, well tempered booze - easy drinker for the style.
