Aroma of dark fruits, roasted malts, dark chocolate, hints of tropical fruits. Flavour is moderate sweet with a medium bitter finish. Tasty Black IPA!

In de nieuwe tuin op een mooie herfstdag uit een flesje. Zwarte kleur, dik bruin schuim. Koffie met wat citrus in het aroma. Volle smaak, koffie. In nasmaak lichtebitterheid.

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Resinous, piney, slightly fruity and zesty, citrusy, hoppy as well as roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, some orange peel, red berries, a grassy touch as well. Taste is sweet-ish and bitter, fruity hoppy and roasty, dark malty, zesty, citrusy notes of orange, lemon peel, some coffee, hints of red berries, a touch of honey, pine, resin; lingering, fruity-alcoholic finish. Slightly oily, watery texture, partly dry, partly creamy, minimally cloying palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Nice composition, maybe a tad too boozy - good.

Draught @ Drie Dorstige Herten Aroma has chocolate and licorice. Flavour has licorice, chocolate, some ash and hoppy tones. A well-roasted IS with hops added.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Floral hops, mint and dried citrus in the fairly mild aroma. Malty sweet, slightly roasty flavor with mint and dried citrus. Pineapple and licorice. Roast. There is a great contrast between the mild aroma and the bursting almost aggressive flavors. Well done.
